Quick post about what I just so happened to come across today. An article from NBC News About This Record Producer Found Where? And no, I wasn’t looking for, nor expecting to find this. But I did, and now putting a post together about something that, I’m pretty sure is breaking news, and I’m relatable to.

So, this young record producer from what I’ve read from yesterdays article, which  they (Police) were performing a welfare check and ended up finding the youngster in his Nashville apartment. The link is above where y’all can go and read it for self. I’m just delivering my light on what I normally strive to do anyway. In regards to this, which is awareness to something that somehow shows to have that type of impact.

One that is always heartbreaking. When it comes to coming across article(s) like this where loved ones eventually are notified. This young record producer found where? In his apartment according to the article. Was 29, Grammy-nominated through working with some well-known as well as some of y’all favorite rappers and R&B singer’s. Like Beyonce,’ Drake and Travis Scott, and others. To be able to work with them as a 29 year old, I mean this would be something like living one’s best life right?

A POSSIBLE dream job for him, something like one moving forward towards whatever that passion is for. I don’t know what the youngster’s life was like before the opportunity, but based off what you’ve read. When it comes to his position in the game. Clearly, there isn’t no worries nor struggles or wants for too much of anything.

So What Happened

According to what I’ve read via NBC News article, they (police) don’t know. The officer(s) were doing the check and found the said to be Hit-maker. So, Tay Keith whose real name is “Brytavious Chambers.” Was said to be found unresponsive, and no foul play is suspected according to Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

The cause of death is pending via autopsy. This record producer Tay Keith, said to be from Tennessee. Worked with said artists above, Career included 4 No. 1 records on the Billboard Hot 100. This including some song with a 2018 single form Travis Scott called: “Sicko Mode,” and one with Drake called: “First Person Shooter.”

The record producer was also said to have been nominated for a Grammy in 2019 for the Sicko Mode song, that he’s said to have helped produce while a student MTSU. And again in 2024 for a song by Drake Ft. 21 Savage called: “Rich Flex.” And also said to have worked with a female rapper name Sexyy Red.

Why It’s Important

“The importance of….” Can U Imagine? Where time is given, time is taken out, which is something I strive to do myself for those. It’s one of those situations I look at, and able to see what I see, and know what I know.

Getting what I get form the situation, looking at how he is seen to have it made based on his position and dealings. Living his what some love to push “Best Life” and appearing to not wanting for nothing. And then comes a moment like this, where now one must ask self: What good is it to and does any of it even matter?” I mean, how can it when you don’t even make it to enjoy it. The Battle of the Mind? I would say, yes.

And I say, this is also WHY it’s so important to strive towards keeping G-d closer. And as the artist 4 the people, this is also another one of those reasons WHY I deliver like I do. Because in songs like this one that, I was asked to do a ft. on called: “In G-d We Trust.” Is an example showing how one cares enough to. Hoping to reach youngsters like this one, because y’all just don’t know.

I’m going to end this post by just saying how unfortunate this situation is, but is also one that tends to have a message always attached to it. I already know that, there’s probably a LOT of talk going on on social platforms about it. There’s also MORE that is going to come out about it. There’s always more to it, that meets thee eyes.

When you look at it does it not seem and appear familiar? Something similar especially when it comes to the connected to and involvement when it comes to this music industry game? Take this prior post done about Aaron Carter “Child Star Dies” as a great example to use.

Though who y’all would consider as: “White” and successful, but yet color/race seems to not matter in the situation now does it? Form what I’ve found is that Aaron Carter had a LOT of noise and madness going on in his life. Yes, that type of madness that, eventually led up to him also being found in his spot in Lancaster, California an what age 34.

Am I hinting at, reaching, assuming and or insinuating? Nah, just expressing through thoughts about this young record producer found where? In his apartment unresponsive. A young guy/record producer who I never even heard of until today, and to add, a day before when, Juneteenth! With that in mind, to be continued…..
